As we are nearing July and the firework season I thought it may be a great time to see if the June market has been setting off it’s own fireworks or if it was a dud?

Great news, 11 Rockford properties sold in June.  4 of the 11 we sold which was great.  These 11 properties consisted of 3 town-homes and 8 single family homes.  While the market has seen better days and the economy as a whole is not what any of would like to see the Real Estate market for June in Rockford has produced some good results for buyers and sellers alike.

As of today, 6/29/09 there are 12 properties pending, 70 properties actively for sale made up of 49 single family homes & 21 townhomes.  In June the average asking price in Rockford is $261,145 for a 4 bed, 3 bath 2,166 sq foot home.  Keep in mind these numbers are an average and include acreage property as well, for a more specific comparable feel free to e-mail me or call me at 612-282-7653.
